Who actually issues the card
We don't. The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) does. Michigan's medical marijuana program is administered by the Cannabis Regulatory Agency, which took over the functions previously handled under LARA. The state — not this clinic — issues the registry card and sets its own processing times. If the physician certifies you, we file the certification on your behalf — but we can't promise a date, and nobody who tells you otherwise can either.

I hold a CDL for hauling grain. Does the card change anything for me?
No. DOT testing is federal and a state registry card doesn't touch it. That holds even if you only haul your own crop. Speak to an employment lawyer if your licence is the thing you're weighing.
Can I take the appointment from the shop or from the truck?
Yes, as long as you're parked and somewhere you can speak freely and hear clearly. Do not take it while driving or while operating equipment. What matters is that you can talk about your health honestly and without being overheard.
What if the physician says I don't qualify?
They'll tell you plainly and explain what they based it on. The fee covers their time and independent judgement, so it applies either way — you are not paying for a result. Some people are not certified.
