Northern Michigan has the state's genuine access problem. Outside Traverse City itself, specialist coverage thins out fast, and for much of the northern Lower Peninsula the nearest option for a given service can be an hour and a half away. Who actually issues the card
We don't. The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) does. Michigan's medical marijuana program is administered by the Cannabis Regulatory Agency, which took over the functions previously handled under LARA. The state — not this clinic — issues the registry card and sets its own processing times. If the physician certifies you, we file the certification on your behalf — but we can't promise a date, and nobody who tells you otherwise can either.

Yes. A certification evaluation is a history and symptom review — a conversation, not a physical exam. Nothing about it is diminished by happening over video. If the physician decides you need an in-person assessment, they'll tell you.
I work seasonally. Can I book around that?
Evening slots are available and you choose your window at booking. The visit is about 15 minutes.
Does the state registry work differently up north?
No. Michigan's program is statewide and administered centrally by the Cannabis Regulatory Agency. Where you live in Michigan doesn't change eligibility or processing.
What if the weather knocks my internet out?
A phone on cellular data is enough. If the connection fails during the visit, the clinician calls the number on your intake and continues by phone.
