Who actually issues the card
We don't. The Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) does. Michigan's medical marijuana program is administered by the Cannabis Regulatory Agency, which took over the functions previously handled under LARA. The state — not this clinic — issues the registry card and sets its own processing times. If the physician certifies you, we file the certification on your behalf — but we can't promise a date, and nobody who tells you otherwise can either.

There's a point in having the conversation, but go into it knowing the physician won't touch your prescription. They'll assess you against the state's criteria and factor in what you're taking. Sometimes what you're on is the reason they decide certification isn't appropriate.

Not to book. Bring what you know — roughly when it happened, what was done about it, what you take now. If the physician needs something specific from another provider, they'll tell you during the visit.
